★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional yes.. but the quality is not there.. and when it comes to service?!? We found worms in the meal and the answer, instead of “Im sorry” was more like.. “oh its normal.. its the corn you know...”
Please review the service.. the place has history and potential to be good.. but at the moment is a place not worth trying..

Far away from shiny marinas,sporty cars or the hundreds of fancy restaurants on the coastline, finding this place was sort of destiny. Delicious local food, way far beyond from the classic grilled thing with some potatoes.In O Charneco, the typical local freshness meets the cunning of a cuisine jealously handed down for generations. What a journey and unforgettable evening, thank you !!

We got served a 7 course menu that consisted of different kinds of fish, cheese, meat, clams and deserts!
Unfortunately the food looked to good so we ate it all and forgot to take pictures.
To sum it up, great local food, really nice ambience and friendly staff. Also the way the courses were presented have been really nice.
Very recommendable local restaurant to eat typical dishes from the Algarve.
