Tried this place as Catalana was closed and had new owners. I had the fillet steak and it was real tender ,and the mustard sauce was awesome. Staff were ok and will probably go back

We were a group of six, all of us agreed this was was the best meal in the 9 days we've been in Vilamoura. We're going back tomorrow. Steaks are amazing, cooked on hot stone.

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience here. I had the lasagne and my friend had the prawn pasta. The lasagne was not crisp the layers of lasagne were not evident. It did not appear as if it just came out of the oven. My friends prawn pasta was tasteless. We requested a change in our meals as the pizzas appeared to look nice. The response of the staff and how they took our complaint was very poor. We feel as if the staff took the complaint very personal and reacted very hard to the criticism. The first staff member that we told was a man. He asked what was wrong with it. We explained. He then went on and said the table next to us had the lasagne and enjoyed it. We said unfortunately we didn't think our meals tasted fresh and would like a change in them.. He just walked away. A lady then came up and asked what was wrong. We explained again.. She refuted what we said and said it was all fresh the food, nothing was microwaved etc... We felt the staff were being slightly defensive and could have just swapped the meals at this point. She took the food away and asked us what we would like. We chose the pizza. I asked her if she was going to charge us for the other meals. She said she needs to speak to the manager!! The manager then comes. We explained our concerns with the food yet again. This was getting tiresome. He said there must be something wrong with our taste buds as he tasted the food and it tasted fine and he went to the kitchen and spoke to the chef and he said it was fresh etc etc. He asked what we wanted him to do...i said he was rude for asking what was wrong with our taste buds. He didn't think there was anything wrong with it. We asked for the meals to be taken off the bill. We didn't want the pizza anymore.. We felt the response of the staff was poor and the number of staff we had to speak to about the same thing was ridiculous. We prefer Julian restaurant or the Indian restaurant next door is superperb..

We called in for lunch with our 11 month old boy and were made to feel very welcome. We had pizza and chicken, the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially with our little boy. Will definitely be coming back again!

We have been around various places on the Marina to eat. Upon getting a taxi home one night we were passed a leaflet. We decided to give them a go the following night. I am so glad we did!! From start to finish the service was excellent. Quick, friendly and professional. When our food arrived it looked amazing and well presented. We tucked in and it was clear and evidently freshly cooked as it was so hot. I had the carbonara and my wife had the spaghetti Bolognaise with a side of garlic bread each. Both were full of flavour, good portions and so delicious! My wife dropped a bit of sauce down her white top, our waiter went above and beyond by getting a spray to clear the stain and it worked! Overall, I’d highly recommend this restaurant. It may be a little out the way, but the prices and quality of food and service is definitely worth it! We are returning before we leave go home!

Still sitting at the table waiting for our 4 year old to finish her meal. We've been here three times already and every single time enjoyed every drink and meal. We can highly recommend the fish, burger, kids meals and stroganoff. The white house wine is also lovely. Will come again

Stopped for lunch avoiding the crowded marina, everything was good, generous portions and at reasonable prices. Recommend the cataplana. Service was ok
