★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I forgot to take any picture. Honestly, the dishes weren’t Instagram worthy and so I expected little when I first tasted the food. But once I tasted the migas and some cod soup…. Very tasty. I think the 2 dishes we tried were very local to the region. I haven’t seen them before and haven’t seen them again once I left evora.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a cheap place (not too expensive either), averaging at around 15eur per person.
It's a small place, so be prepared to wait.
But my, oh my.. it's worth every cent you spend and every second you wait. From the appetizers, through the main course, finishing with dessert this is truly a place that will please you.
I've had the best beef steak I've had in a long long time, the melted cheese with toasts is sublime and any of the dessert is an amazing treat.
Definitely coming back here if I have the chance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a little gem! Hidden behind a nondescript shopfront in a backstreet of Evora, is this great restaurant. We went the first night and were blown away by the food. So much so that despite a minor disaster (a painting fell off the wall on to our table, shattering a wine glass which sprayed glass and red wine everywhere) we decided to book for dinner the next day. Again the food was amazing! The staff are also really friendly and helpful (recommended great wines that didn’t break the bank). To top it all, it’s really reasonably priced. Book if you can as the place is tiny (only 22 seats) and they fill up quickly.
