★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome, speechless ehh delicious! The fish was tasty. The vitella estufada was mouth wattering. As desert a chocolate cake that was not overwhelming but just on point just like the orange cake that did surprise by tasting fresh and natural simply loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurants deserves a Michelin star.The food is so tasty , very good portion and with very good quality. The fact that the owner Carlos and Luisa never failed to welcome you so pleasantly and take care of you through out your time in the restaurant.The employees constantly check if you need anything. From the beginning to the end of your experience here it’s worth the money and time . If I could I will give another 5 extra stars.!!!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Tasca is as authentic as it gets. We got rabbit (coelho) and sole (filetes de peixe) with an amazing "grelo" rice. We missed the octopus rice as it was sold out.
As desserts, a wonderful chocolate cake and an orange cake.
Only drawback is that you gotta be patient as the couple (which are likely to be the owners) at the only servers and the restaurant is very popular.
Definitely worth our detour to Alcantara.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic place filled with locals enjoying Portuguese food. We just walked in and received excellent recommendations on what to order. Service was so friendly and everything was perfectly prepared. Local prices too: for drinks, main dishes and desserts for 2 people the bill was only €21,50! Come here for no nonsense, good Portuguese food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Humongous portions and lovely chocolate cake!! Do give the fried fish with tomato(?) a go. The side of tomato rice is really warm and comforting, and the broccoli with olive oil is simple but super tasty
