★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A MUST!!! Don't miss this local and rather excellent family-run restaurant. Carlos, the proprietor is a character, more worldly than Merides confines might suppose, good for a story, and it would seem a deft hand in the culinary depatment. The staff are very friendly, and handle customers with efficiency and aplomb. And the fish is excellent! Try the sardines and makerel, both local treats. Calamari and salad also good. Lots of reasons to spend an evening here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A uniquely characterized place. Regional dishes, served on traditional tableware, nicely cooked. A great rooftop to grab a drink or have a nice and peaceful meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I were so happy after eating at this basic portugese restaurant. The ribs from the lamb were some of the best grilled lamb pieces I have ever had. The self made French fries were great as well. The fish my girlfriend had was also exceptional, so was the wine!
The staff was friendly and quick and made the dinner pretty damn perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice roof terrace, traditional Portuguese food, large portions. Friendly staff, ni e service. Dinner of the day from 5.9€, other around 10€. They do not have english menu. We had "Migas"and "Favas con chouriço". Dishes were quite fat and heavy. "Favas" was overcooked and something was wrong with sausage/black pudding as we had stomach problems afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saying that I was expecting a lot more wouldn’t be enough.
The food was mostly bad, only the meat was somewhat well done, rice and potatoes were just bad. The menu is incorrect, only a few meat and fish plates are available. The price isn’t justified as the portions are really small(comparing to Portuguese cuisine).
And all that with reservations (unless you are lucky enough to get in before the place is full).
Working hours are also incorrect.
