Would definitely go for razor clams, if available also oysters and the Portuguese style steak with ham.
Wine selection also great these guys know what they're doing.
Will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food with delicious Tuna, all guests loved the experience. But there aren't any vegetarian options apart from a vegetable pasta. The lamb and shrimp also were very well prepared. Extra side potatoes and rices weren't served as well. The home made chocolate mouse was super good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited until we found a restaurant that offered the authentic catalpana the very old Portuguese seafood dish. So glad we tried it here. O Mexilhao was the perfect choice! It was delicious and the owners are delightful and very friendly and speak good English.

The freshest ingredients, the nicest staff and amazing value for the quality you are getting.
Only here for a just over a week and will definitely be visiting again!
Do not miss out on this absolute gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prawns and the octopus are the best we’ve ever had. Too good. What impressed us the most is also the service from this one waiter and you would think he was trained at a Michelin restaurant. It’s more than just friendly service that you commonly see in restaurants but also the professional level. The wine was also superb.
This is the restaurant we would return to many many times. The whole experience at this restaurant and the food are both top 1 in town.

Highlights are, of course, the Mussels. Then the seared tuna and garlic shrimp are great. And they do an interesting and delicious take on seafood pasta.
Can't recommend more highly!
