Traditional Portuguese food restaurant specialized in eels and lamprey. They make some dishes every day and it is what you can choose, which is more exquisite. We ate a feijoada de camaroes and an exceptional cod stew at a ridiculous price. Sure hit ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was recommended to us by a local friend, Sr Antonio. It was suggested to be a very typical fish-based (Enguias e Lampreia, both a type of eel) and it did not disappoint us at all. The food is absolutely local, Enguias (Eel) is sourced from a bit north of the place but still relativity nearby, White Wine is from the area in between Miranda do Corvo and Condeixa, and anything else is sourced from the vicinity of the restaurant. The owner is named Carlos and a very friendly and accessible person. As we live nearby, this restaurant has become a standard for us and we are dining frequently there. Price is typical for this area and appropriate. All in all a place to recommend for any traveler that likes to experience the native culture in the area in between of Montemor and Source.
