★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A classic for portuguese "petiscos" to share, ranging from snails (when in season), typical cured meats and sausages, cuttlefish, octopus, bivalves... The list is long and the price is fair. Can really become crowded and chaotic. Best out of the peaks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a fancy restaurant, this is not even a business that strikes to have a top notch service. If you get nervous and sometimes can't wait for your food, go elsewhere. O poço has great Portuguese food for a outstanding price, but what I appreciate the most is the family ambiance that is created. In the kitchen we have Ms. Filomena (mommy), at the tables we have Mr. Vasco (pappa) and Rute (the daughter) its just like a picturesque Portuguese movie with great food and every day with a new twist, be it new plates or some family banter :)
