Fundado em 1900, “O POLÍCIA” é hoje um dos restaurantes mais antigos da cidade de Lisboa.
Na altura, uma casa de pasto, hoje, O POLÍCIA já vai na quarta geração. Teotónio Lázaro Miranda foi o fundador que, no final do século XIX, resolveu trocar a farda policial pelo avental. Hoje, são as bisnetas, Cristina e Teresa Miranda que lideram o negócio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here twice. Once with a Portuguese client, that intruduced it to me, second time I took my girlfriend here. The place is over a century old, and still has the authentic vibe. Mostly visited by locals, which is of course a good sign. Food is good and reasonably priced.
