★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent prices and great northern portuguese cuisine. You have to go meatavore here, forget about the veggies! I suggest the bochechas de porco (pork cheek with chestnut puré) and the regional cachena meat (beef). Northern Portugal is green wine (vinho verde) land and what they served was quite good. Half portion is enough for 1 adult and 1 child.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place to have a meal in Arcos de Valdevez! You should try "Bochechas" but Cachena is also a delight! For desert I recommend "Leite Creme" which is our Portuguese Creme Brulee.
