★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was recommended by a Local. It is not touristy, lots of locals (mostly older or families) eat here and when I tasted the food, I could understand why. The food is cheap, it’s taste like a home cooked meal, portions are huge, house wine is good enough, service is straight forward. Boom! That’s all you need if you’re a foodie and you don’t need anything fancy apart from a local food experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately, my wife and I really didn't like the food. I had "Bife com batata frita e ovo" and she had the "Choco à Salamanca". The latter was very chewy and didn't taste very good, the former was not great either. We didn't feel very good after eating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yay! It’s exists, those places we have lost in Holland. We doubted a little but what a lovely evening! We ate traditional Portugese food. Between the locals, old and young! Superb evening. Kind people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good Portuguese food - and very large portions. Reasonably priced. Service can be hit and miss. But a great place to sit outside in the sun with a beer and some grilled fish and meat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Basic but well cooked food, I had the steak n egg, was a bit underdone for my liking but still good. Good value too. Very busy but I got a table outside after about 10 mins wait, so fast enough, and I wasn't rushed to finish and leave.
