★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Péssimo. Demorou muito a servir. A Moqueca só tinha três camarões, o restante eram só as cabeças. O cabrito estava mal cozinhado, a raiar o cru e extremamente salgado. O pão de entrada deixou muito a desejar. Já teve melhores dias.
 Terrible. It took a long time to serve. The Moqueca only had three shrimps, the rest were just the heads. The kid was undercooked, bordering on raw and extremely salty. The starter bread left a lot to be desired. It's had better days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pode ser injusto avaliar sem ter chegado a provar a comida. No entanto, não é admissível o que nos fizeram. A verdade é que o governo foi explicito. Dias 24, 25, 30, 31 de Dezembro é obrigatório apresentação de teste negativo. Hoje, 27 de Dezembro, pediram teste para entrar no interior. Prezo o zelo para a saúde pública. Seria óptima medida de salvaguarda se não se sobrepusesse à lei. Em todos os outros restaurantes a que tenho ido neste intervalo temporal só pedem certificado. Peço desculpa, dói-me ter que fazer esta avaliação que nada tem que ver com a comida, mas fiquei indignado.
It can be unfair to evaluate without having gotten to taste the food. However, what they did to us is not acceptable. The truth is that the government was explicit. On the 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st of December it is mandatory to submit a negative test. Today, December 27th, they asked for a test to enter the interior. I value the zeal for public health. It would be an excellent safeguard measure if it did not override the law. In all the other restaurants I have been to during this time period, they only ask for a certificate. I'm sorry, it hurts me to make this assessment that has nothing to do with the food, but I was outraged.

Besides being in a super nice place in the countryside of Ourique, it has excellent food, always as a special touch of the house! To top it all off, all the staff are extremely friendly and attentive!
I highly recommend it! The best francesinha in the region!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to O Tachino last week. Loved it enough to plan a paella dinner with friends last night. Illness intervened and we couldn’t go. When we called the restaurant to tell them and see if it could be “take away,” they offered to deliver it to our apartment, which they did.
We had a feast! The food was excellent and plentiful. Can’t recommend O Tachino enough, both for the quality of food and for their graciousness!
