★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had only 40 minutes before returning to our bus and wanted a quickie lunch, with grill sardines as our mission. We rolled the dice and told the waiter that we had limited time. They accommodated us beyond our expectations since this was a sleepy beach town where everything was chilled. Food was ready in less than 30 minutes. The fish soup was good and the sardines were out of this world.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small and cozy restaurant, and while it might lack in flashiness, it offers great service, amazing food and a super friendly staff.
The seafood rice is definitely the highlight, and comes in a huge traditional clay pot, with enough food for 3 adults, using fresh local seafood, not the frozen mixes often found in other restaurants close by.
The price is more than fair for the amount and quality of the food, and is about 25€ per person with wine, starters, main dish, and dessert/coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant. Delicious food (fish from the grill) and good house wine (6,50 € one bottle). Bacalhau à Veleiro comes with mussels and a gamba! They don't have all the options everytime but that's authentic. You'll get one can be catched in the sea. Two meals with one starter, one dessert and a bottle of house wine for 40 € is a fair deal for Nazaré. Thumbs up!
