Vale la pena anche solo una visita... anche se quasi impossibile resistere alla tentazione di portare a casa qualche souvenir..? Artiste di grande livello, inoltre molto cordiali, disponibili e socievoli. Definitely the best ceramic shop in the city! It is worth even a visit ... even if it is almost impossible to resist the temptation to take home some souvenirs ... Top level artists, also very friendly, helpful and sociable.

S	Simon Wentworth on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard of Deolinda from a local friend when asking about where to get authentic hand painted Azulejos (tiles) and not the clearly faked ones in the tourist shops. It was Sunday and she was closed, but I called my friend who called her and she came down from her house just to show me her work. It was gorgeous and with so much variety, but on top of that it was clear how dedicated she was to her work spending her time explaining to me the process from design to the painting and how the colors changed when put in the kiln. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase the wonderful piece she was working on because I was flying out and she is nervous to ship the tiles as they can be fragile, but when I return to Lisbon I will surely return.

She has a wide selection of tiles to painted canvases. I purchased three items. Each was packaged with care to take on my return flight. I have recommended this store to friends and will return on my next trip.

One of the artists, Deolinda Rocha, makes a range of tile artwork - some of her work is more traditional, and some is quite modern. The other artist had some beautiful paintings, with a rather impressionist style. Everything was very reasonably priced. So glad we stumbled across this lovely art studio!

The owner makes beautiful, authentic, hand painted tiles and is wonderful to talk to. Each tile is ~12EUR but well worth it compared to the cheaper tourist traps in the city (and it’s a fantastic way to support a local artist). I’m so glad I found this place while wandering around Alfama.
