Quando exigem que as pessoas estejam apenas 15 minutos antes sa consulta e depois estão numa sala de espera, fechada, mais de 2 horas porque a médica se "atrasa muito," informação do secretariado. Aqui já não importa o covid. Unfortunately, lately, in addition to not being the same doctor who attends the appointments, they are more than 2 hours late. When they demand that people be only 15 minutes before the appointment and then they are in a waiting room, closed, more than 2 hours because the doctor is "very late," information from the secretariat. Here the covid no longer matters.

Of the IPO I can only say: - fast and very attentive service by very competent, responsible and friendly professionals - fantastic and truly concerned doctors with the patience to spend what little time they have, to answer all the patients' questions - very clean and organized facilities Thank you to this great institution and to all the professionals who make it a lighter and happier place, as far as possible. R	Roger Goodings on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm ashamed to be a foreign national / Portuguese person today. being out the country for a long time, I returned with an ill father with very bad cancer for him to visit "home". Decided to go to the IPO for an informal second opinion following the run around of processes required to step foot in only to be made to wait HOURS to be told to come back 3 days after we were due to leave the country again. The RUDEST doctor possibly in the world delivering a no-coherent argument refusing to see him because "thats just how we work". Extremely cold, unsympathetic, ineffecient and rude. Better service and doctors in South Africa. A sad day to be Portuguese but it is INFINITELY clear why the Portuguese have fiscal and social problems. I suggest spending the money and getting private advice else where before going to the IPO OR at the time of enquiry make sure to get EVERY persons name and take note of the time of communication to ensure accountability. Dont expect sympathetic help from these people.

My portugese not great , but the staff and my surgeon spoke with me in English. I was diagnosed with cancer in January, I was referred to IPO CANCER HOSPITAL, I live in Algarve. After not the best first meeting with a doctor at Portimou, I was glad to be referred by that doctor , thank you for that. I am now in the hands of a surgeon and his team, he reassured me that he would be with me from start to finish. I felt much more relaxed. Things are moving quickly had my 3rd visit yesterday. Everyone has been great. I know I'm in the best hands.
