★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 stars only for the location which is fabulous, however the food bears no relation to the pictures on the menu and is expensive for what it is. We only wanted a light lunch and didn’t want to spend €40 a kilo on freshly grilled fish. The basket of bread was half the size of the menu picture - only 4 little slices, and the pâté came in tiny foil tubs. We left the beach with a sour taste in our mouths...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in any part of the world. Actually, didn’t even get to fully experience it - after 1 hour waiting without any word from any staff, with no queue system, I had witnessed enough including a customer so irate that she attempted to jump across the bar and bottle a member of staff. Food looked unappealing and expensive but I can’t say for sure as I just gave up. Should probably be shut down. Atrocious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by in passing in December, saw the poor reviews and was hesitant.
Happy to say our experience was excellent here.
Very tasty and fresh fish for lunch with good wine.
Owner offered us Medronho and Port on the house after our meal.
The cats were on the beach and no problem for us.
Toilet is at the rear outside.
A really peaceful and beautiful location here.
Perfect afternoon.
