Typically appointed and tidy room with a typically awkward and tiny bathroom. The two significant deficiencies would be the lac of a lift, (elevator) and, perhaps less important, a television in the room. They have attentive staff at the front door to let you in an out of the front door, but you do have to buzz in which I found odd. I was a little taken aback by the entry in general as it was poorly lit and a bit shabby in appearance. The complimentary breakfast was modest to poor when compared to every other hotel I stayed with over a two week stay in various Portuguese cities and towns.

Pros: - Most of all: the kind and friendly staff. We really enjoyed the friendliness and the service. - The location. - The atmosphere of the building. - Large room 'O' although we bumped our heads many times. The room was directly under the roof (see photos of the room layout). - Good coffee and orange juice at breakfast. Cons: - Our room 'O' had an electricity problem. In the first night, the heating failed, which was not nice in January, having the room directly under the roof. Later, the light in the bathroom broke. But both problems were fixed quickly after reporting them. - Lack of electrical sockets in the room. It was a challenge to work out a schedule to charge our both phones, and that was not possible at the bedside. - The Bathroom of room 'O' was a little cold because the heater was a little too weak and also making a terrible sound. There must have been something wrong with it.

Great spot to stay in the city. In the middle of all the action but on a quiet street. You're 1 street over from all the bars and clubs. Tons of restaurants and everyone is super nice. The breakfast is simple but just enough start your day off right. Very quaint with the stone walls....there is a romantic feel to it.

Enjoyed my stay in this B&B. The location was perfect for us who happen to enjoy bar hopping and sight seeing. The personels working for this place was friendly and they are available 24/7. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean too. The daily cleaning service was good too. However this place may not be suitable for early and light sleepers due to the noise from the bars and discotheques around it which on weekends will last until 6am in the morning.

Perfect location, nice hotel and great price. We got the cheapest room with shared bathroom (there is only one but didn't have to wait often). The room was nice and clean only complaint is that there is no soundproofing. Was a quiet hotel overall but in the am could hear reception checking people out.

Amazing location, really worth it, perfect for a weekend getaway, and the M3 bus stop that goes to the airport is a 5-minute walk. Nice rooms. If you're a sensitive sleeper, bring ear plugs as there is a bar outside the window (although I've been fine because of Covid curfew). Only giving 4 and not 5 stars because the cleaning wasn't at 100%, there was always at least one long black hair found on the floor or in the shower. So please step it up, Oporto. Thanks

The room was cozy and tidy and the location is excellent. However, at the check in we got to find out another couple had just checked into the room we were supposed to check in. There was no reply on the hotel number but there was an older cleaning lady, she was really sweet, who tried her best to help us but unfortunately she didn't speak a word of english. In the end we managed to check in in to our room but this took quite a while. It just makes me wonder how our documents we had to sent beforehand are handled if they mixed us and checked into the same room two different parties with slightly similar first names.

Central location, the room we had was very quiet. It's a bit cold at night in the winter, but the blankets were warm, it is a good location. The hotel is based in the heart of the neighborhood where there's a lot of bars, and good restaurants. It was good value for money considering that we booked it last minute.
