★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in October and the camping was quite full. The space for tents is very small (cca. 4-5 tents) and you can not park car near the tent. So we found different camping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in our touring caravan in February and the site was perfect. Nothing was open of course as it's well out of season but the shower block was clean and regularly cleaned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very nice camp site if you want to visit Porto. The bus stop for bus 15 is about 200 m away and takes you to the centre of Porto. Restuarants are close, you can cycle, swim in the pool or sea. One of the bests so far in Portugal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location to visit Porto and friendly staff - this would be five stars ... BUT ...
Sanitaries can be old, but they need to be maintained and cleaned. Luckily the place was not too crowded, so it was workable...
Whatever was first - hen or egg - as everything is so rotten, most of the guests seem not to care at all ... this might be worth an attempt from the campsite to change the appearance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camping area is absolutely disgusting. Filthy, dirty, smells and is impossible to peg your tent in the ground, as it’s rock hard with patches of concrete - pegs just bend. TA reviews claim ‘outstanding’ - these have to be fake? €22 for one person with a motorbike. I wouldn’t camp here if it was free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just come back with family after staying in 2 of the mobile bungalows. We stayed out of season so the swimming pool and cafe were shut so cannot comment on those. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful; the handle on the door broke within 5 minutes of reporting it there was someone there fixing it which took 2 minutes.
The campsite is situated right across the road from the beach, the only way it could be nearer would be actually camping on the beach! Some lovely places to eat and drink near-by, but my overall impression of the immediate area is just how amazingly friendly everyone is. Bus stops to Porto are just metres away and there is plenty to see and do in Porto, absolutely stunning sites all around. Well worth a visit, such a beautiful place.

The reception, the staff is super friendly.
You feel very, very warm welcome.
The check-in procedure is fast and effective.
The sanitary, toilet and showers, have been refitted and impeccable and superb clean!!!!
A washing machine of 12 kilo is the mothersday WISH of any partner ;)
The Road entry to the top, the real camping area is steep. Too steep For some campers.
It Is Impossible to ascend and decend at the same time - the Road is far to small to pass Each other.
Then the refit that still has to be done:
The caravan/camper lot
Painting of once was White.
The colorless environment, the sense of the far overdue maintenance - better to qualify as dilapidated.
Then the transformation of camping to lodges? Is this the true Migration?
In Terms of value for Money we think 25 euro's For an overnight camperstay is far too much and overrated.
