★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ideal place if you want a rude and uneducated service, as if they were paying you to go there, and not the other way around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice for a coffee and something sweet, horrible for lunch...! I ordered a lasagna, after 20 minutes waiting, they came to told me that there didn't have what I ordered. I changed my order to another kind of lasagna. When they came to give my bf his dish, they told me the other lasagna will take more time... If I wanted to change again for the bolognesa one. I did, it finally came, it was horrible, dry!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a chain of Portuguese cafes. The bread comes out of the oven three times per day. Coffee, snacks and light meals are available throughout the day. The staff is professional and the place clean. Portuguese usually pick a cafe based on the relationship they develop with the staff and other clients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in a hotel on the same street as this bakery and whenever I felt peckish, I’d grab a pastry with a drink here. All the pastries are freshly baked and everything I tried was super delicious. If only they show the names and ingredients of each pastry in English especially that not all the waiters/cashiers speak English.
I tried their Plain and Chocolate Croissants and those were so delicious. Their veggies and chicken pies are heavenly good (photos below). Of course the traditional Pastel Del Nata here is fresh and creamy and so delicious especially with coffee.
If you’re in the mood for a quick breakfast or a bite in the afternoon and you happen to be around the area. Give their pastries and baked goods a try.
