H	Hannah C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A friend and I spent a week here to go surfing/take surf lessons. By far the best hostel I've been to. Very clean with nice extras like hairdryer and haircurler in the bathroom, furniture in great condition, each room has its own motto, which was cute. The staff were extremely helpful and nice! Debby (the owner) was super nice, organized day trips for us, they were all super relaxed and flexible about driving us to the surf lessons, all in all a great experience! What I also liked was that the people staying at the hostel were very mixed age groups - made it a extra pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful stay, made some great friends and hope to repeat it again soon in the near future. Steve, Debbie and Star will definitely make you feel at home at the Paintshop!

Figueira is so nice and welcoming, you can enjoy the cost while having some fresh seafood, have some balls of berlin at a pastelaria, with a good fresh Somersby cider. Finally Thanks to our hosts Steve and Deborah, plus staff (season job students => big up) you can just have to worry about nothing. + smoothly decorated + funny events + always clean + so many surprises + English level improved (we re French) + finally we graduated to intermediary surf level thanks to so many good waves days (those on the pictures are the very least) . L	Lucy Ward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very friendly hostel with a sociable communal area and outside space. A fantastic complimentary breakfast with eggs, fresh rolls, fruit, meats and cheese. Mountain bikes available to hire for €5 per day and surf lessons organised at the hostel for €30. This includes a wetsuit and transport to the beach. Good facilities (and well stocked beer fridge) and only 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest beach. Ben is a great host and lots of fun and the owners Debbie and Steve were very helpful and accomodating
N	Noyka heal yourself on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best hostel for sure!! The employees welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like home. They helped us with everything we needed and we were so sad to leave just after one night. The room is clean and cozy, the common areas are decorated and welcoming. The breakfast was great with eggs that you could cook to yourself, cheese, bread, cereals, butter, jam and hot/cold drinks. Guys if you choose the paintshop hostel you'll not regret it!
A	A Finsley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed with a family of 5, kids ages 5-7. We had a family room with private bathroom. The staff was amazing. There were fun parties to watch the Euro Football finals, tips on best places to eat and shop, they arranged surf lessons on demand and provided transportation there. Breakfast was really good and overall it felt like a home for the week we were there. The family that runs it is amazing and they select really good staff to keep the good vibes. Everything in town is a 10-15 minute easy walk, no transportation needed except for surf lessons.
