The Palácio da Mitra, or the Archbishop's Palace, was the former summer residence of the Archbishops, and later of the Patriarchs of Lisbon, located in the parish of Santo Antão do Tojal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The existing building and grounds are part of what used to be a much bigger summer residential complex for the archbishops of Lisbon. It had a private dock and extensive grounds around it.
The building has lately been used for state events. It is now being prepared to become a social service cluster "Lisboa Social", housing several social institutions under Santa Casa da Misericórdia patronage and supervision. Maybe then access will be possible to the general public.
