★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Smartened up since I last went there, which was a couple of years ago. Now the milieu matches the produce. Beautiful bread, cakes and coffee. Recommend the tostás.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to Pao do Rogil 3-4 times, the coffee & cakes are okay but the lady at the counter is incredibly rude. I first presumed she was just having a bad day but it was the same every-time I came, even when I tried being extra nice. Also tried the bread a couple of times (seems to be a regional favourite sold in small grocery shops) and was disappointed. I would say one is better off just getting some at any large supermarket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious patisserie. The pastel is better than the one in Belem. A very kind owner, a lady who speaks English and French. A very nice place to stop for a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice modern cafe. They have decaf cappucino with soy milk in small for 1,80. Lots of place to sit. I came here to get some work done. Would recommend :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So good! Could have eaten all of it! Chocolate cake was delicious, pastels de nata (both kinds) really good! Also bought some cookies - super! And some sweet potato walnut bread - also fine!
