A very interesting and delicious place to visit if you are close by or willing to get a real portuguese family food. Staff is very friendly and you can actually see they making your food. I do recommend!

Fantastic authentic food, I’ve tried many “pratos do dia” (meal of day) and they were time after time great.

Absolutely beautiful place. I don’t think you can go dining any more authentic in this area. The food is made with a lot of love by an old woman. It’s like eating the food your grandma makes. I would recommend to anyone.

A bit overpriced but good quality fresh food. The place looks lovely, decorated with many traditional Portuguese symbols. At this price point (€14-15 a dish) we can find more sophisticated Portuguese restaurants and maybe get better servings, but it won't be easy to beat this cozy and lovely atmosphere. Plus, they serve few exquisite dishes and homemade desserts that you may not easily find elsewhere. It makes a great place for the occasional dinner out with a group of friends or a partner.

Delicious food in a charming atmosphere. The menu is not exactly the same every day, so you know that what's being prepared is based on the best available ingredients that day. A wonderful gem, and very welcoming to strangers ?

Very quirky family run restaurant. Lovely food cooked to perfection and great value. Staff were all so friendly, but the fact that we didn't speak Portuguese worked against us. We were surprised that it wasn't full on a Sunday evening

Hayoooooo this was epic. A semi-small diner run by an elderly couple just bringing the.best.food. Truly, this rocked our day. The food is simple and beautifully made. Everything is prepared on the spot, even the fries are handmade. You walk into this restaurant and are charmed by both the cluttered style of interior as well as the kind generosity of the proprietors. As I said, the food is pretty straightforward but full of flavour and effort. Prices are reasonable and the place invites you to have a good time. We shared three main dishes, after having two small starters and ended up having 4 desserts too. Because of the pandemic it was very calm but I can imagine it’s something else entirely when you’re visiting in high season.
