Uma igreja muito antiga, edificação medieva, reedificada em meados do séc. XIX. Muito bonita e muito bem conservada. A azulejaria é belíssima.

Bem localizada. Tem parking nos arredores. Aviso pra quem vai com idoso como eu fui, a casa de banho fica no andar superior. Tem que subir escada ou fazer um lanche nos cafés que ficam próximos para usar a casa de banho.

Igreja paroquial de fundação medieva, reconstruída nos séc. 19 e séc. 20, de expressão neoclássica, seguindo as obras do séc. 20 o mesmo estilo nos elementos introduzidos na decoração. É de planta retangular composta por nave, capela-mor, anexos e torres sineiras, tendo coberturas interiores diferenciadas em falsas abóbadas de berço, com alguns elementos decorativos em estuque, com destaque para a decoração figurativa das lunetas da capela-mor. É iluminada uniformemente por amplas janelas rasgadas nas fachadas laterais, as do lado direito desativadas pelo adossamento de um amplo anexo, de dois pisos, executado no séc. 20, altura em que a luneta da capela-mor foi devassada, para a ampliação do espaço de assistência no lado da Epístola, sobre o qual se ergue tribuna. A fachada principal é do tipo fachada harmónica, com corpo central rematado em frontão triangular, com os vãos rasgados em eixo, composto por portal e janelão, ambos com altas molduras e cornijas contracurvas, de gramática tardo-barroca.; encontra-se revestida a azulejo de padrão azul e branco. As fachadas têm cunhais apilastrados, com invulgares capitéis jónicos, firmados por pináculos, e rematam em frisos e cornijas, as laterais rasgadas por portas travessas, atualmente desativadas Interior com coro-alto de madeira, ampliado relativamente ao primitivo, que assentava em arco abatido, contendo um órgão de tubos, com caixa de decoração neoclássica. Na base da torre, no lado do Evangelho, o batistério. Tem púlpitos e capelas laterais confrontantes, todos de talha pintada de branco e dourada, feitos nos séc. 19 e séc. 20. As paredes laterais apresentam revestimento a azulejo, compondo festões e glórias de querubins, que envolvem painéis decorativos. O retábulo-mor é de talha neoclássica, tendo sofrido remodelação no final do séc. 20, com o acrescento de um novo remate, que se adequa à cobertura.
