★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no reason to stay here when there is a much nicer campsite 4.5 km to the south, just on the beach.
The same bus from Aveiro goes to both campsites.
This campsite is mostly populated by permanent campers and feels more like a residential neighborhood.
Facilities are old but clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not really say one way or other whether it was lovely as we were camping out of season so the place looked a bit like an abandoned storage space for unused motorhomes , the facilities were very nice and clean but we did not get to see restaurant as it was shut

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mediocre, at best, this camping site. Messy and degraded sanitary facilities and no toilet paper. Chaotic, festival-like, with almost no shaded areas for tents. Great location, but awful ratio price/quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived and greeted by security. We were showed to a patch of sand under tree's . We were aware of a weather warning for a storm in the night so we decided to sleep in the car. Next morning the ground was awash. Our neighbours pitches were flooded. Didn't even try to shower as the facilities looked old and antiquated. We walked out of the site to eat and on return greeted by security obviously doing his job but raises concerns as to why he is there! The site is taking money but seems to be little being reinvested.
And another thing, toilet paper.......provide it, it costs very little!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a night since I was looking for the CTT post office and found the campsite as well!
It was relatively cheap and I could get a place close to the office so decided to stay.
The pitch was small and mainly said and pine leaves plus it took some time to get electricity. The bar was open and there is children play area behind it. It is close to the beach - about 100 m and also the centre, but still quiet at night. The showers and toilets function but are a bit ‘tired’.
In summary for €13 it was good value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience in a camping, everything's well organised and clean, came here with my boyfriend and my dog and we had a wonderful stay! Very close to the beach, unfortunately on this beach you're not allowed with the dog but we found one 10 min by car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location for Barra beach and cycle to wonderful Costs Nova.As for the camp site pitch very tight and lots of static caravan taking up most of the area. Pine needles everywhere and no attempt to clean them up which seemed like a fire hazards to us . Bathroom and showers in bad need of overhaul nevermind a good clean . Evidently the owners of this site don't believe that cleanliness is next to Godliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location for the town but the site is untidy and looks run down. Some of the motorhome pitches get road noise. Only okay for a stopover to empty and fill in my view. Also the reception staff need to start taking some 'happy pill's' or get another job!
