Route with interesting viewpoints, but lacking indications of continuity and, at this time, there is very little water.

(Rádio Antena Livre) ENG - ROTAS DE MAÇÃO PROJECT PR4-MAC-ORTIGA SUL PATH The Ortiga Walkways, which allow you to walk around 1,300 meters, along dirt tracks and wooden structures, on the left bank of the Tagus River. This is a project by the Municipality of Mação on the Rota das Pesqueiras and Lagoas do Tejo, which will be linked to the Rota do Rio Tejo as well as to PR4, in the Rotas de Mação network. This area of the walkways, under work that should be completed this spring, has the entrance to the area known as Bairro dos Pescadores, near the Belver dam. Certainly, for the people of Ortiga who are used to walking along the paths along the river to reach the fishing grounds, it is, more or less, easy to walk along the rocks, among vegetation. For a more touristic visit, these walkways are a gateway to areas with more difficult accessibility, as they are built on small water lines and on the stones that flank the riverbank, fishing grounds and lakes. It will be the gateway to a “visit to the Tagus” different from the “normal” ones we have.

Peace and union with nature. Don't just make the walkways, explore the lagoons and fishing grounds as well.

There is a wait of 1020 meters of walkway and it is actually 510 m (come and go 1020 m) but... I liked it.

O Miradouro é a cereja no topo. Adorei a visita.

Very good. Taking the opportunity to enhance the heritage, in this case, As Pesqueiras. I just don't think that much wood is needed to make the walkways, as there are conditions to use the soil and resources on the site, such as stones and slabs that were perfect for people to walk on.
