Pastelaria Batalha - Venda do Pinheiro - Largo de Santo António 1
We were at Batalha twice for breakfast with my husband and two small kids. It is a family run place where you could have very good food and coffee. The attitude is very friendly and helpful. They have childrens’ chairs. You can get there various kinds of pastries, croissants, sandwiches and bread and for breakfast they offer four different menus at good prices. I totally recommend it if you want to have delicious breakfast or just a coffee and something sweet.

The food is delicious, they have a tuna toasted sandwich which is HUGE so if you intend to eat alone and not share with someone I suggest asking for the "meia" (half portion). Their pastel da nata's are REALLY good too. If you walk into the office with a box from Pastelaria Batalha everyone suddenly is your best friend, which says a lot!
