★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent bakery shop where all the locals get their cakes and pasteis de nata (they are delicious). A must go when in Viseu and you need some sweet stuff to get going when touring around the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cakes are very good but the service is extremely bad. They didn't accept our order at the counter because we would be seated. We order to the waiter, who is extremely slow, he repeats it to the 1st guy at the counter and it takes ages.... we were in a hurry so this was really annoying. Then we were supposed to have a discount from our hotel, but we had checkout already and he wanted to see the the card key...this was never mentioned and he said he could not do anything. We even showed the booking in our phone but no... It's not about the discount is about advertising something and then saying there are additional conditions that were not said in the begging. At the end the bill was also wrong... very bad experience overall!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and very busy pastelaria. The cakes we got were great. Genuinely tasty doughnut. Clearly a place loved by the locals. You have to take a ticket and wait to be served but it's totally worth it.
