After a long day at the pool and a walk along the dune path, we were looking for a restaurant that served typical, local dishes. We didn't want to go to a "tourist" restaurant but something authentic! After a quick Google search, we found the Pátio D'avó! The waitress doesn't speak English, but is very, very nice and tries to communicate with you "hands and feet"! Fortunately, my girlfriend speaks Spanish, so you could understand each other a little bit. In any case, after a very short wait, the food came and it made our eyes and mouths open. The arrangement is simple, but the meat and fish on the plates speaks for itself, I don't need a star chef! Everything tastes so incredibly delicious, straight from the charcoal grill in the courtyard. A dream, a poem! We liked it so much that we went back 2 days later! It's worth a visit. And if you can't understand the language barrier, the menu has English subtitles ?

I've been a customer for years and despite being abroad, it's always a place to return to. Good food. Warm and friendly service. Prices that will make you drop your jaw. That's all you'll find here. If you're around, make sure to pass by. If you're not. Come for a visit.

Great food and amazing prices. This is such a typical Portuguese restaurant, that just talking about it makes me smile. Known for its Fado performances, you shouldn't be alarmed by the pictures on the walls and old newspaper cutouts. The food is great! We ordered the Barco Lulas and Camarão for 22€, the Cabrito, the Tripas and the Polvo. All of that was more than enough for 6 very hungry people. The only reason I won't give a 5 star is the desserts. Unfortunately, they weren't homemade, so the chocolate mousse was not tasty at all as it was packaged, the molotof was good but the ice cream cake was also store bought. Other than that, it was all so amazing!
