★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Peixe Azul for dinner after a quick Google search. The place is fairly close to the airport, and it's a family-run restaurant with great food, great prices, awesome service, and a local gem -- very authentic.
From the moment we arrived, we were given the royal treatment. Although we don't speak Portuguese, the waiter had no issues speaking to us in English and he gave us a walk-through of the Portuguese-only menu, and brought in samples whenever we ran into a language barrier.
In the end, the food was really quite good, affordable, and generously portioned; but it was the authentic feeling / flavours and the amazing service we received that made our experience so much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden away in the suburb is this little gem. Family run restaurant with very homely feel. You will feel like you are at your grandmothers. Mario was absolutely a Gentleman explaining the menu in English. Excellent service and food. Make sure you ask for Mario's signature samosas.
