★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn't enjoy the place. It seemed like it's gone into receivership. Should be fabulous but little things make it miss the mark. Where it is, is incredible and views are unbelievable and we hope others had a better experience than us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here over 3 weeks ago for a wedding. Beautiful location, staff were friendly. Also felt safe re covid. Can't understand why a negative review from a lady 3 weeks ago?? Absolutely fantastic hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good resort like hotel, with nice pools, amazing views from room balcony, great breakfast. Good for children as well. Though only dislike was that the internal pool was really cold, we thought it would be a warmed water pool, but it is not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice hotel, very near to the beach (5 min walk). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Big outdoor area near the pool serving drinks and snacks with a beautiful view looking out to the ocean. Breakfast buffet had so many options and really tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pestana Viking is a 4 star hotel in a good location that doesn't disappoint. It is new, well decorated, offering spacious bedrooms with good amenities. Location is very good, just in between 2 nice beaches, surrounded my many bars and restaurants and walking distance grocery shops. The breakfast was great, wide variety of fresh fruits, cakes, breads, cold meat, cheese and hot food. Just the juices were not very good and you can wait quite long time in the queue to get your hot drink from the machines. The gym was ok, but could have more treadmills and the air conditioning was broken. Swimming pool area is nice, on top of a cliff facing the ocean. Also has spa, jacuzzi, indoor pool and kids club. Ideal for couples and families. I also would like to call out that Luisa Guerra from the reception is a very good professional. One suggestion: they could have some vegan options in the menu and breakfast. We will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at this place for a week and enjoyed the stay. Very good place to chill out, walking distance from the beach. Underground free parking. Very clean and friendly staff members.
Have been to this place twice now and will go soon again, also they have another site with 18holes golf course in the complex within walking distance.
