Selection comes between seafood And land meat, both very nicely picked And prepared. Quality of ingredients, love from the chef And highly charming owner made our food special. Its tapas And essentially would recommend whole menu. For me the shelves, gambas And tuna was the best.

We wanted some ‘telline’ as it was written on the black board outside but it wasn’t on the menu. We took 3 tapas and a side of fries. It took at least 20-30mins to get our first tapas. They came one by one but we expected it all together and bread was brought without asking and charged 2.50 . Horrible service It was maybe not the right night for us.

The cod and leek fondue was actually a piece of cod over a bed of leeks and was superb. The steak was extremely tasty as was the (pan-) fried prawns. Everything else was excellent and all very inexpensive. We sat outside and had a lovely view of the river. I should note the service here is also fantastic. The English of everyone we interacted with was very good for us.

I got 6 huge oysters for 7.50 euro and a delicious pork cheek dish with sweet potato puree and a few glasses of wine and an apple crumble for all under 30 euro. I so regret not having more time in Tavira because this place was so good. I was on my own but I know that it'd be a lovely date place, but also a lovely group place. I cannot recommend enough. My waiter also had a great sense of humor, and I always appreciate that. Fantastic. Go!
