In the historical center, near parking, one of the best places to take a break and enjoy one of the varied snacks. We also found good solutions at lunch. I strongly advise.

We ordered the Tabua da Vila which consisted of a small sliced cheese and a range of smoked meats; presento, ham and chourico- all of which were very dry and tasteless. Nothing was fresh. It was served with a basket of stale bread for which we were charged extra. My husband asked if they had piri-piri sauce but the bottle they brought was out of date and so past it's best that it was a dark brown colour and inedible. We had hoped to taste some flavours of the alentejo but were served old food and overcharged for the privilege. A place to be avoided.
