The service here was the worst we have experienced in Portugal. Two waiters spent most of their time playing on their phone, pausing occasionally to hack up some phlegm (shudder). The bread we ordered arrived without butter but just some pallid excuse for olive oil. The mains were truly bizarre. We ordered two steaks. First, they were clearly minute steak, so hardly justified the price (€16.5 each). Secondly they arrived with rice and chips, no sauce, and a random slice of orange and an egg on top (and one small piece of raw carrot)?!? The chips were undercooked (potentially microwaved?). The bill took around 20 minutes to arrive and when it did there was an erroneous €5 charge for a starter (rather than €2 for the dry bread). We had just cycled all day so ate what we could but this may go down in history as one of the most overpriced and disappointing meals we have ever had on tour. We left wishing we had just eaten our cereal bars for dinner. Avoid like the plague.

Great food at affordable prices. A great view also, if you decide to eat outside

+ Location is great, wine was good, and the waiter tried his best. - Paid €13 for a outside burnt cod fish, raw inside, swimming in fat. Side dishes were some shady potato oil chips with a try of french fries. We were unable to eat this, rarely saw something like this before. The waiter tried his best, but was clearly incapable of doing a waiters job. Long waiting time.

Service fast and friendly, food amazing! Suggest the octopus and the iberian porc.

The food is pretty tasty, but the best part of this place is definitely the view. If you get a chance to sit outside, do it. It is beautiful.

Staff so RUDE! I needed to do some online work, so I asked if I could order some coffee and food and sit on the WiFi for a few hours. The waiter said that was fine, so I ordered even though the only vegetarian option was bread and cheese and soup; and proceeded to answer some emails. I did call about four clients but didn't see a problem with that, as I was literally the only person in the resturant. I decided to pay at the same time as order my second coffee. I had only drunk 1 sip of it when they asked me to leave. I thought it was a bit werid to serve a coffee like that, just before closing and I said so. The waiter said he wasn't closing, he needed to sit at my table to eat his dinner and that he was waiting and REALLY hungry. I pointed out there were four other EMPTY tables in the room, and that I hadn't drunk my coffee, and he said he really wanted THAT table and then stood over me while I cleared away my things. I've taken my work into a lot of cafes and never had an experience like that before. It was awful. He was absolutely lovely until I paid.

Five stars but really deserves ten. Very small but the view from the terrace is beautiful. If you you have to wait for a table be patient and you will be rewarded. The waitress could not have been more delightful and helpful. The meals did not disappoint either.
