Excellent fish restaurant. Fresh fish cooked over charcoal in the traditional way.

Choco frito was the best! Also the dessert and the courtesy of the people working there. Highly recommended! Great local food !!!

You're going to have the best grilled fish in Setúbal at this place. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff is very nice. They'll help you with everything you need. Price is very fair and the food is amazing!

How it is possible to give less than 5 stars. The food was incredibly good, we ate fried squids, perfect boiled potatoes, fresh tomato and onion salad and amazing grilled seabass. The staff was very friendly, i wish i could eat here every day. Thank you.

Great fish! We tried dorade and local haddock (cantaril), tarte à Coco for dessert is a must also. Service is great, but prepare to speak French or Portuguese if you want to get what you want. We had some great time here, obrigada!

After booking a table for 13:30, and arriving at 13:33 we were promptly led to our table outside (esplanada). END OF THE GOOD PART OF THE STORY ... :(( I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS RESTAURANT, EVEN IF THEY PAID ME (A GOOD FEE). - We waited for 13min until they placed paper towel on our dirty table (outside). - we waited a further 4min for the menu to arrive - asked for water and wine immediately, and kept the default cheese - upon asking for a recommendation of fresh fish, i was recommended to go with the waiter to choose freely myself (tricky positive) - as i was lazy and felt like some grilled mackerel (carapaus) i asked whether they were fresh and of a decent size ... waiter said yes + yes - so we chose the Carapaus + nice salad (without onions) (context - the restaurant probably had around 10 tables and approx 20 people, with 3 waiters, 1 person at the grill and a further 2 that i saw in the front of the house) ... here goes ... - I queried the waiter 3x over the next 45min, asking for our lunch, as the mackerel is typically 10min on the grill. - the fish arrived at 14:46 - the fish was clearly dry, as in NOT fresh !! (not overcooked on the grill) - the salad was full of onions (and peppers), and ridiculously swamped with salt (maybe i should only have asked for the food 2x :(( ?!!!! ) - with the food at our table, we were quickly welcomed by loads of flies, that made the next 5min unbearable (i literally spent more time swatting flies, than holding my fork) .. so we paid and left in order not to make a scene (now sadly in a mall, to give the 6year old some lunch, before 16:00) WILL NOT RETURN (but i had spent a pleasant dinner in the sample place, 3years ago)

I know this restaurant since I was a young sales rep, more than 20 years ago, when I used to bring colleagues and friends here. The fond did not changed - fantastic! Puntilihitas and Massa de Peixe de cherne claro ... it is absolutely the best! You will suck you fingers how delicious it is. Friendly and professional staff. Make a reservation to make sure you have a place! The Santiago tart is to die for ... if you are 3 or 4 as for Santiago tart, trouxas de ovos and. Brigadeiro ... as desert in one place to share. Of course close with an expresso coffee Portuguese style!

The owners were kind enough to let us in earlier than opening hours...the food was sublime, the service was amazing and the ambience cozy and warm. Highly recommend it if you are willing to pay the fair price for excellence.
