A senhora foi tecnicamente correta no corte das unhas, mas a consulta foi apressada, tendo como resultado receitado creme para os fungos dos pés cuja posologia era para as verrugas... Muita pressa, pouca concentração e cuidado. Não vamos voltar. My mother-in-law went for a first appointment in August 2021. The lady was technically correct in cutting her nails, but the appointment was rushed, with the result that she prescribed cream for foot fungus whose dosage was for warts... Very hurry, little concentration and care. We will not go back.

Decidi lá ir com a minha filha e acabei por encontrar a Podologista para toda a família, pois a Dra. Joana Azevedo revelou um enorme profissionalismo e competência, solucionando problemas que, apesar de já terem sido vistos por outra profissional, não tinham ficado resolvidos. Recomendo verdadeiramente!! Dr. Joana Azevedo was recommended to me by a friend, to whom she treated and directed her to resolve the serious problems she had with her feet. I decided to go there with my daughter and ended up finding a podiatrist for the whole family, as Dr. Joana Azevedo showed enormous professionalism and competence, solving problems that, despite having been seen by another professional, had not been resolved. Really recommend!!

Joana Azevedo só piorou meu problema, minhas unhas inflamaram tive febre e muita dor, tive que procurar outra profissional hoje para resolver meu problema e desencravar minhas unhas. Dra Joana me passou essa receita, usei corretamente e não resolveu em nada porque foi um péssimo trabalho Bad experience, I arrived thinking I was going to do a job and it was completely the opposite, I suffer from stuck nails and Dr. Joana Azevedo only made my problem worse, my nails inflamed, I had a fever and a lot of pain, I had to look for another professional today to solve my problem and unclog my nails. Dr. Joana gave me this recipe, I used it correctly and it didn't solve anything because it was a terrible job

Joana, não foi por que não quis, mas de facto foi pelo atendimento telefónico mostrado pela Sra. que me atendeu ( cujo nome irei omitir). Ao tentar solicitar uma consulta especificamente com a Dra. Joana, a Sra. informou-me que a clínica estaria aberta até às 19h de hoje. Numa segunda chamada, 5 minutos depois, a solicitar o agendamento para as 18:15, a Sra. informa-me que a Dra. Joana não dá consultas até tão tarde, que "isto é uma clínica e que existe outros médicos que dão consultas cá". Após isso, indica-me que só tem disponibilidade às 15h para atender, ao qual revela que a Sra. não ouviu aquando a solicitação da consulta para às 18:15. De facto não merecia este tipo de comportamento, que não foi meramente objectivo, mas foi de entoação que revelava pouco interesse pelo seu trabalho. Não tinha qualquer conhecimento desta clínica, e o que acontece que é que se o nome da própria Dra. encontra-se no nome da clínica, eu como utente irei supor que seja a única pessoa que trabalha neste local, semelhante ao meu pai que é médico dentista. Eu não quero prejudicar o trabalho da Dra. Joana que parece ser louvável com todos os comentários que aqui apresentam, mas quero chamar a atenção à mesma do comportamento aqui mostrado pela Sra. que poderá antagonizar todo este feedback que se encontra online. Dou 5* de forma a não mitigar o trabalho da Dra. Joana, pois não foi o fruto desta falta de profissionalismo mostrada pela Sra. que me atendeu. Unfortunately I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Joana, it wasn't because I didn't want to, but in fact it was because of the telephone answer given by the lady who answered me (whose name I will omit). When trying to specifically request an appointment with Dr. Joana, you informed me that the clinic would be open until 7:00 pm today. In a second call, 5 minutes later, requesting an appointment for 18:15, the lady informs me that Dr. Joana does not give appointments until this late, that "this is a clinic and that there are other doctors who do appointments here". After that, she indicates that she is only available at 3:00 pm to attend, which she reveals that she did not listen when the consultation request was made for 6:15 pm. In fact, he did not deserve this type of behavior, which was not merely objective, but was intoning that showed little interest in his work. I had no knowledge of this clinic, and what happens is that if the name of the Dr. herself is in the name of the clinic, I as a patient will assume that she is the only person who works in this place, similar to my father who is dentist Doctor. I do not want to jeopardize Dr. Joana's work, which seems to be commendable with all the comments that are presented here, but I want to draw attention to her behavior here shown by Mrs. that may antagonize all this feedback that is online. I give 5* so as not to mitigate Dr. Joana's work, as it was not the result of this lack of professionalism shown by the lady who attended me.

A Dra. informou-me que usava calçado de tamanho impróprio para os meus pés, uma das razões para os vários problemas... durante toda a vida!! Os fungos foram tratados com laser. É caro? Não, porque os resultados são incríveis e rápidos! Agora estamos a tratar as verrugas que provocam dor. As lesões estão a melhorar consideravelmente. Recomendo! Dr. Joana Azevedo was recommended to me because I had nail fungus and warts. The Dr. informed me that I wore shoes of the wrong size for my feet, one of the reasons for the various problems... all my life!! The fungi were treated with laser. Is expensive? No, because the results are amazing and fast! Now we are treating warts that cause pain. Injuries are improving considerably. I recommend!

Where she shouldn't cut, she cut until it was bleeding and the prescription for the creams where nonsense! Treating a so to say virus with antibiotics? :D ... During she was doing all that she answered 3 times her privat phone. But I already discovered that this is almost normal here in Portugal. Ah... And to almost loose a toe you have to pay 60euros... Thanks!

If you are in need for a Podologist I highly recommend you look elsewhere, Dra Joana might be very capable at her job but highly lacks interpersonal skills. Arrived for my appointment, receptionist asked for ID which I provided after which I was asked to take a seat. 40 mins (too) late I was finally called into her consultation room to be asked to show my ID again which is a first for me, which Dr asks for your ID and after having just gone through the process at reception? No problem, showed her my ID after which she asked me for a passport, who walks around with a passport or brings it to a Dr appointment, besides that my internationally recognised UK drivers license should be more than sufficient,? She also proceeded to ask for my NIF (Tax ID number) which is absolutely irrelevant as this number is for tax purposes in Portugal and necessary when paying taxes, making official purchases such as buying a property or carrying out other formal activities not an appointment at a Podologist? After mentioning that I obviously did not bring my passport and there was no need for my NIF number she refused to see me. Now, I have dealt with many incapable "professionals" in my career but Dr. Joana tops it all, it seems to me like she has some underlying issues with foreigners, the foreigners that bring companies and jobs to Portugal.
