As duas comunidades vivem em conjunto há muitos anos Vale a pena visitar. It is a unique town that when inaccessible had its own system of governance. Today the locals welcome tourists into their homes. It is still a place where doors are left unlocked. The houses are built from the local stone. It is a lovely slice of life in Portugal.
