★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stylish, cozy little place is a true gem for those who roam the city, looking for unique gastro experiences.
The service is just the right ratio of friendly and attentive.
The tasting menu with a glass of wine is, to put it bluntly, the exact kind of experience you hoped to get out of the beatiful city of Porto.
Sit at the table outside after the sun goes down, and have dinner here. You won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, what is not to love about this spot? So happy we came here on our last night. Somewhat unassuming on the outside, we had read the reviews and decided to come by for a late dinner and were so impressed.
It has an approachable ambience that really allows the high quality food and wine to be the show stopper.
Ricardo - owner and chef is so charming and warm and gave us lots of recommendations for our travels.
Definitely the meal we will most remember for Porto, if you’re lucky enough to come here don’t pass it up!
We had the sea bass and steak which were delightful and the most amazing chocolate cake to finish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best dining experience I had in Porto. This place is tiny, as in 6 tables for 2, and you'll definitely need to reserve ahead of time(trying stopping by the night before or earlier, as it fills up). Once you're in though, it a really great...we ordered the tasting menu, and we're not disappointed. The cheese plate was amazing, the cod and humus and ricotta and strawberry salad delectable, and the deserts sublime(especially the mango lime concoction!)
If you're looking for an intimate night out in Porto, I highly recommend this spot. You won't regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Porta 4. It is quite a small restaurant with limited seating so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. We had the steak and the gnocchi which were both delicious. This formed part of the set menu that is great value. They also have delicious house wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So pleased that we booked into this amazing restaurant. Went with 2 friends during our trip to Porto and we were made to feel so welcome. Food and wine recommendations were excellent - we really enjoyed the orange wine to start. ALL the food was great, but the pork was probably the nicest pork I’ve ever tasted. One of our group is already planning on returning to Porto and coming here. Whole experience was great - food and service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow!!! Simply Perfection! We paid 60€ for a 3 Course meal, a bottle of wine and water. The Food tasted amazing and the Chef &waiter were so nice! Reservations are necessary and so worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was more than just a dinner: it was super delicious, a show, a great, personal atmosphere, and so on! We had three courses for for ~30€ each (incl. a bottle of really good wine).
The concept is: one cook in a tiny kitchen plus one waiter for the tiny restaurant (fits around 10-12 people at a time). We really had a great time in combination with a delicious dinner. Would always come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for fast food/formal dining, this is not for you. However if you are looking for amazing food and a cozy dining experience, this place definitely is it!
There are two guys doing this restaurant (one cooks and the other attends the tables). They are friendly and easy to talk to. You can see the chef cook the food and talk to him while he is doing so. We thought the food was great and the portions were perfect. We had the tasting menu with cod and pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious!
It is worth knowing that there are only four tables inside and three tables outside. So a reservation is definitely required, and it is best to arrive a little early so that you can choose where to sit. Also do not come in expecting a quick bite. All seven tables are being cooked by just one guy, and there is only so much he can do!
Overall we had a wonderful time and the food was great. We will gladly come back if we return to Porto!
