Muito limpo e cuidado. Recomendo a visita. Eu de certeza que irei voltar com mais tempo para explorar o que não vi. Spectacular, very well maintained. It is worth the visit, not only for the monument but also for the landscape. It gives us the feeling of time travel. Very clean and maintained. Highly recommend the visit. El conjunto de murallas y baluartes es impresionante, el interior, sorprendente, y el conjunto, inolvidable. Un lugar al que recomendaría ir a cualquier viajero que quiera conocer la Península Ibérica a donde. Esta portada de Santiago es fascinante. An impressive carved stone gate, which allows entry from the south to the walled city of Almeida. The set of walls and bastions is impressive, the interior, surprising, and the set, unforgettable. Armas de la época, que aún disparan, uniformes y multitud de lugareños voluntarios. El resto de habitantes visten de la epoca y agasajan con dulces y vinos a todos los visitantes. Grandioso evento y contento por haber disfrutado de este evento en las murallas mejor conservadas de Europa. Muy recomendable y no dejar pasar la oportunidad. I was looking forward to visiting Almeida, and it has been a pleasant surprise to coincide with the festivities and specifically with the representation of the siege of the fortress by the French, and the defense by the Anglolusa garrison. Weapons of the time, which still fire, uniforms and a multitude of volunteer locals. The rest of the inhabitants dress of the time and entertain all visitors with sweets and wines. Great event and happy to have enjoyed this event in the best preserved walls of Europe. Highly recommended and do not miss the opportunity.

Aqui as coisas estão muito bem conservadas e é um local ideal para se vir passear. Há também muito sítio para se estacionar cá fora. A historic site that everyone should visit! There are not many such walls in Portugal! Here things are very well maintained and it is an ideal place to come for a walk. There is also plenty of space to park outside.

As muralhas são em for de estrelas (petagonal) para defesa dos inimigos, principalmente Espanhóis. Very beautiful place that is undergoing a revitalization process to support tourism in the region. Como Español argumentar que Almeida es absolutamente preciosa, y recomiendo su visita si te encuentras por la Zona de la Raya!!! Spectacular gateway to the Fortified City of Almeida (Portugal)!!!
