About Portiate Charter - Actividades Náuticas, Lda
Andrew also began at an early age and learned side-by-side with his brother Philip. He has always done a little bit of everything.
Andrew immediately developed a love for motorboats. This passion is the reason for Portiate’s expansion of its fleet with small motorboats for daily motorboat rentals and private motorboat day trips.
Andrew’s main duties with Portiate are briefing customers, as well as skippering, maintaining and managing Portiate’s motorboat fleet.
He is also our most knowledgeable and experienced skipper for cave exploration.

The boat was incredible, we went on Innovation, a beautiful sailing yacht. We had the brunch catering which was delicious! Still can't believe it's March and we had this unforgettable day! Highly recommended and we'll be back soon!

Louise's welcome was very warm and professional.
Explained the most beautiful spots, anchorages, nice restaurants, etc.
We hired the Cap Camarat 6.35 which was well maintained and equipped with a brand new 150 hp yamaha.
Nice to see that there are still friendly people in the charter business who charge affordable rates!
Keep up the good work, see you next year:-)

The boat was skippered by Philip and we literally have no words to describe how attentive, friendly and professional he was beyond his responsibilities as a skipper. We sailed with other companies before in the Caribbean and Croatia and the service provided by Portiate from the moment we first contacted them was way above our expectations!
There's no doubt that if we're ever sailing again in Portugal we'll contact Portiate again.
We're so thankful to have had Phillip as our skipper and if we could rate him 6 stars we def would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best way to start your stay in Portimao is begin with a day sailing with Portiate. The Capitan and Skipper are so confident in their sailing skills. We were able to see the beautiful Algarve coast with some amazing secluded beaches only accessible by the water. We anchored for lunch and a swim to shore. We brought out own food and drinks, but they were so kind to prepare everything for us! It was so relaxing. We had so much fun laughing together and enjoying an amazing once in a lifetime experience. Of course, we would do it again and again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most amazing day on the catamaran ! Philip was very kind and helpful and showed us the best that the Algarve has to offer. Everything was fantastic - the boat (super clean and modern), we brought our own food and drinks (the boat had cutlery plates fridge a mini kitchen to cook, everything!) and the best was to admire the sunset whilst dancing to our music played through the Bluetooth system on the boat. I can’t wait to come back and book another trip with Portiate. Obrigada Philip and Portiate team!
