Very friendly staff! Portions were generous. The cheese platter is a must if you go with an entrée. For the main dish, I had pork with chestnuts, the pork was tender and the chestnuts went quite well with it. Definitely recommending. If there is a cheesecake for the special dessert of the day - take it!!! Best cheesecake I've ever had.

A restaurant run with the aim of helping people and hirs former drug addicts and longtime unemployed. The food was excellent, and service was good! I recommend the outdoor seating, you could hear a cacophony of bird chirping if you arrive early. I highly recommend the chorizo, fried eggs with bacalhau and pork cubes in chestnut stew. Their white wines are also good.

Great location tucked away in an old narrow street. The smart interior and attentive service were somewhat let down by the presentation and cooking of the food. A cheese platter came in the form of little cheese 'matchsticks' arranged with biscuits. The cheese was OK if rather bland. It would have been more appealing presented differently and with at least one tangy mature cheese and marmelada or some other accompaniment. My cod was tasty but my wife's pork cubes were unappetising, served in a tasteless liquid and accompanied with rice. Looking up the recipe later, the pork ought to have been marinated and served with a peppery sauce. It's good that this place is a social enterprise but I think it requires more skill in the kitchen as I would expect for €60 for two with wine.

The fact that the a group of employees were all outside smoking and the place was empty should have scared us away. But my wife was drunk and didn't feel like walking anymore. Owner/ waiter was nice. Mushrooms were terrible. Bread no good. Pork belly wasn't bad. Pork cube dish with chestnuts was an unseasoned disaster. And the rice wasn't cooked all the way. It was cheap so payed and left. At least the wine was cheap.

nice place, a bit hidden which can make it even nicer. What you see on the picture cost about 32€. 3,5€ a glas Vino Verde, 2€ Olive Oil, 3€ Olives, 2,5€ four slices bread and 10€ for the cheese plate. Olives were very nice, bread was ok… I can’t compare with other places in Porto, so three stars in general

Except for the food, everything was perfect. The ambiance was good, the service was good, wine we selected was good, but all the appetizers and food we ordered tasted less than average. Food taste was not memorable for us

I was looking forward to coming here as I liked the idea of wild boar in red wine. Sadly it wasn't available. I chose rojões instead with chestnuts. It was flavourless and there were very few chestnuts. It should have been marinaded, it clearly wasn't. I finished with pudim, which was okay. The wine was nice. The service was excellent. The price was a little high for what we got. Such a shame. The place looks lovely and everything fresh, but the cooking really wasn't up to standard. This is a social enterprise. I wish them all the best and hope this was just a case of a cook needing more training to make the place a success.
