★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beach from a postcard. Amazing views and beautiful ocean walk/hike. Nice restaurant on the beach, and friendly people. We stayed for one night at a house overlooking the beach- one of the most picturesque places i have ever been to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little village standing on a seaside cliff. Great place to watch the sunset after a day in Cascais! The ride here will also take you through a beautiful scenery full with green mountains, small Portuguese towns and the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic spot. Can't say enough to describe the vibe and view. Rocky coast makes it impossible for water sports but it's still a perfect place to watch the ocean. Ultimate beach in my humble opinion.

I wouldn't recommend swimming in the ocean due to strong currents, luckily there is a pool where you can enjoy sunny days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Azenhas do Mar is such a picturesque village. You can take a walk on the coast from Praia das Macas to Azenhas to enjoy the vast expanse of the ocean.At the other end you will find a small beach and an oceanic pool with warmer water. Next to the beach there is a really nice terrace and restaurant to relax and have a bite.
It is a day trip from Lisbon,I would recommend taking the Sintra electrico to Praia de Macas and then a bus back to Portela de Sintra.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome little city to visit! But make sure to do a reservation at a local restaurant if you want to have a seat there for lunch/dinner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice little village with a breathtaking view on the Ocean. Worth a quick stop on your trip. There is a convenient free parking on the road to the village. You can swim in the natural swimming pool at the beach. Bring a wind jacket as it is pretty windy.
