Meeresstrand
Die südlich von Vila do Conde und der Ave-Mündung gelegene Praia de Azurara beginnt an der Mole, die die starken Winde abhält.
Der weiße, feine Sandstrand erstreckt sich Kilometer weit und wird gesäumt von einem unter Naturschutz stehenden Dünengürtel. Badegäste erreichen den Strand über Holzstege, die dem Schutz der Natur dienen.
Die starke Brandung ist bei Anhängern des Surfsports sehr beliebt.

Praia de Azurara

Praia de Azurara, south of Vila do Conde and the mouth of the Ave, begins at the pier, which keeps the strong winds off.
The white, fine sandy beach stretches for miles and is lined with a protected dunes belt. Bathers can reach the beach via wooden footbridges that protect nature.
The strong surf is very popular with fans of surfing.

Beautiful beach, very extensive, bars, public toilet and plenty of parking. I didn't find a dustbin let alone an ecopoint
