★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of emigrants in August, I love it but some people don't, all families reunite with the Portuguese who are abroad all year. The beach is nice and clean but it's windy at times, the folks are friendly and the food is Portuguese tradicional food, so you will love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a hidden gem with a little lake behind the beach full of pedalos and stand up boards. Great bars and restaurants along beach and lakeside. Also in the photo an ecowalk around another small lake.
