Der ausgedehnte Sand wird sowohl im Norden (durch den Ponton des Schutzhafens von Vila do Conde) als auch im Süden von Pontons begrenzt.
Die Südzone zeichnet sich durch durchgehende Felsformationen aus, die mehr als 200 Meter entlang der Wasserlinie verlaufen.
Praia do Senhor dos Navegantes got its name because it stood in front of the Chapel of Our Lord of the Sailors instead of the Caxinas.
The extensive sand is bounded both to the north (by the pontoon of the protective port of Vila do Conde) and to the south by pontoons.
The south zone is characterized by continuous rock formations, which run more than 200 meters along the waterline.

É uma praia limpa, com nadadores salvadores e os bares de apoio são limpos e higiênicos. A areia é da fina e as crianças podem brincar à vontade.
The Senhor dos Navegantes beach is a blue flag beach, with good quality water, it is very spacious, the tents and people keep their social distance. It is a clean beach, with lifeguards and the support bars are clean and hygienic. The sand is fine and children can play at will.
