★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beautiful place. The parking is not very comfortable, and access road is not car friendly. We had to walk mostly 1 km to reach here. But the place was totally worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steep descent to the sea level but absolutely worth it. Spectacular beach, wonderful colours and plenty of space (not many tourists due to the tricky access). Can't be missed if you're in that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Massively over-rated. Horrible parking, difficult walk down, beach and water full of seaweed, lots of rocks in the surf, the beach almost disappears at high tide... and then a grueling walk back to the cars. All this 1km away from a lovely beach. No thank you!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the beautiful beaches at the Portuguese Costa Vicentina region. Recommended. Carefully with the access, slippery and steeper not for people with mobility difficulties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite beach and favourite place on the whole Earth. I love it. It is almost empty. Secluded part of it (1/3 part in the south) is so empty that one day on July 2018 there were two couples, on the other day 3 or 4. Marvellous sand.
To get there you should turn in the dirt road to the left just after campsite Monte Carvalhall da Rocha. Go straight 500-600 m. The cliff is 40 m high so one should wear something better than flip-flops. Check tides before getting there because sometimes it is flooded almost completely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Access is not so difficult. Take your time and it is not a problem . If people want easy beach access then they can go to the busy beaches.
I have had many beautiful days here , almost deserted and waves great for body-surfing.
Amazing lagoons at the far north end when tide is low.
I hope it stays isolated .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beach. Only reachable on foot. Both beach areas can be reached at low tide. At high tide the beaches are separated by a rock in the middle. You can also surf on this beach. However, you have to be careful because there are some rocks in the water.
