★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to enjoy a hot afternoon next to the cooling waters of the river Alva. Large grassy areas with trees for shade and also a large sandy beach. Great for swimming and playing in the river. Children's pool so kids can safely enjoy themselves. Restaurant and bar that are reasonably priced and have a nice shady sitting area. In all a great place for families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What happened to our favorite beach? We went here until late in the summer last year, loving this place. Now we come back for the first time and it's a mess. It changed completely and not for the better. A great beach got ruined. What a bummer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great River beach and not very crowded. Went on Sunday afternoon and there was about 15 people when we got there, quite a few people arrived later on, but still not bad and plenty of space. Also has a small cafe and an ice cream/drink stall on the main beach. Very relaxing, definitely recommend.
