We met Catarina Ferreira from Predimed Alvor, who arranged numerous property viewings for us in the area and within the budget we discussed. She listened to our needs and eventually we found the perfect property for us. I cannot stress how important it is to find an estate agent that will work with you and listen to you. She helped explain the steps and processes as we went along as they are different to here at home, with promissory contracts / etc to be aware of. Catarina also assisted us in setting up the transfer of the utility bills, water, gas and electric, which can be challenging without good grasp of the Portuguese language. Catarina’s advise has been invaluable to us and we really appreciate the time and effort that she put into our property search.
I would highly recommend Catarina and Predimed Alvor if you are looking for a second home, holiday apartment or investment in this region of the Algarve.
