Profresco - Peixaria & Restaurante can be distinguished not only for delicious and fresh fish ? but also for entertainment factor. Best choice !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect place to enjoy the beautiful fresh local fish. The staff was really nice, it felt like a family running the place. Relaxed and warm, really good English and up for a chat. They called us a taxi when we couldn’t order an Uber driver. The taxi didn’t take cash so they even offered to let us pay them with card so they could pay the driver for us with cash. Very kind people!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why you got one star less? When we came to the restaurant I really didn't feel welcome. It was a Lady sitting at the "reception " and wasn't polite at all. She was rolling her eyes all the time and she said that they have only one table available outside on the sun and is nothing more she can do. Basically I feel like she judge us because we didn't wear Gucci brand. So we were about to sit there and very nice Gentleman who is working there came to serve us and made for us an amazing place to sit in 1 minute. So basically if you want you can.
Bad experience from the beginning but thanks to the Gentelmen I did enjoy.
The food was good, nice view, and amazing Sangria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PLEASE CONSIDER: This is a fish trade company with an attached restaurant. This won‘t be the spot to go if you expect a full scale restaurant. But if you want fresh seafood for extremely reasonable prices with a great view… this is your place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't been inside ,unfortunately during pandemic I was supposed to stay outside ,but the food we've bought was fresh and tasty . As I've seen pictures taken by my friends inside some food is still alive ! Definitely I'll be back there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SO GOOD. We ordered the seafood platter, bread, and tomato rice. The prawns were amazing. It was fun to try so many different things. The staff are extremely friendly and fave us recommendations on wine and places to see in Peniche. Best meal we had in Portugal!!
