★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Péssimo acesso, sem luz de noite , pouca simpatia no atendimento e no geral, cobram carro mesmo que não fique no parque de campismo, para mim nunca mais.
 Bad access, no light at night, little friendliness in the service and in general, they charge a car even if they don't stay at the campsite, never again for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O parque poderia ser excelente se não fosse a recepção fria dos proprietários, uns acessos péssimos, e a falta de assistência se tiver algum acidente dentro do parque. Se não fosse a simpatia de um casal de franceses que estava lá a passar férias ainda estaria estendida no chão. Não há primeiros socorros, nem qualquer empatia. Foram duma frieza cruel. Lugar bonito com donos, nem tenho palavras...
The park could be excellent if it weren't for the cold reception of the owners, some bad access, and the lack of assistance if there is an accident inside the park. If it weren't for the sympathy of a French couple who were there on vacation, it would still be lying on the floor. There is no first aid, nor any empathy. They were cruelly cold. Beautiful place with owners, I don't even have words...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Higiene nota 10, tudo muito limpo e arrumado. Local rustico e muito agradável, os donos estão sempre no local, são super atenciosos e simpáticos e muito disponíveis. É possível levar animais. Tem musica ambiente na piscina e internet. Tem quartos familiares e o preço é muito acessível. um paraíso com uma piscina infinita. Tem acesso a um passadiço até ao rio do vale de Gaios onde tem uma piscina feita pelos locais, agua pura e límpida embora fresquinha.
Grade 10 hygiene, everything very clean and tidy. Rustic and very pleasant place, the owners are always on site, they are super attentive and friendly and very available. It is possible to bring animals. There is music at the pool and internet. It has family rooms and the price is very affordable. a paradise with an infinity pool. It has access to a walkway to the river in the valley of Gaios where there is a swimming pool made by the locals, pure and limpid water, albeit fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij hadden een kamer gereserveerd op de Quinta bij Bie en Dardo. Anneke was hier twintig jaar geleden al een keer geweest en had er goede herinneringen aan.
Ik nu ook.
Op persoonlijk vlak de vriendelijke ontvangst en de prettige ongecompliceerde omgang van de eigenaren.
Wij hadden een 2-persoons kamer met eigen douche en toilet, ruim, netjes, schoon én midden in de natuur.
’s Ochtends een prima ontbijt, ’s avonds een prima avondmaaltijd van 3 gangen.
Samen met andere gasten aan de lange eettafel ontstonden leuke gesprekken met onder meer verhalen over de ontwikkeling van het terrein en de gebouwen. Uitleg bij de maaltijd over de verse zelf gekweekte groenten en fruit.
Voor de wandelaars waren er diverse mappen met goed beschreven routes in de ruige natuur van de omgeving, voorzien van veel historische achtergronden.
En te allen tijde het zwembad, de infinity pool, zoals Anneke hem noemt, om af te koelen of lui in te drijven, met zicht over de vallei.
Gastvrij en ontspannen zijn de kernwoorden van een verblijf op de Quinta da Cerca.

We had reserved a room at the Quinta with Bie and Dardo. Anneke had already been here twenty years ago and had good memories of it.
Me too now.
On a personal level, the friendly welcome and the pleasant uncomplicated handling of the owners.
We had a 2-person room with private shower and toilet, spacious, neat, clean and in the middle of nature.
In the morning a good breakfast, in the evening a fine evening meal of 3 courses.
Fun conversations with other guests at the long dining table ensued, including stories about the development of the site and the buildings. Explanation during the meal about the fresh home-grown vegetables and fruit.
For walkers there were various maps with well-described routes in the rugged nature of the area, with many historical backgrounds.
And at all times the swimming pool, the infinity pool, as Anneke calls it, to cool off or to drift lazily, with a view over the valley.
Hospitable and relaxed are the keywords of a stay at the Quinta da Cerca.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places to camp in Portugal, fantastic swimming pool with a view, small scale tourism, meals with organic biological home grown vegetables and fruit!! and an excellent cook!! many things to visit in the surrounding. Hiking, horse riding, mountainbike trails in the neighborhood...or enjoying the peacefull nature around you...what do you need more on a holiday??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice camping site located in woods with beautiful infinity pool. Hosts are very polite and kind. They grow organic fruits and veggies and serve it to guests. We enjoyed our stay very much. I'd recommend this place either you're looking for bed and breakfast or camping site!
